Overview

The Valentine’s Day Sports Proposal Contest is a free promotional contest celebrating marriage proposals that take place at live sporting events.

Participants who planned (or completed) a proposal at a sports game during February 2026 may submit a photograph of the proposal along with a short written description telling the story of the engagement.

One winner will be selected based on creativity, originality, emotional impact, and relevance to the sports setting. The selected winner will receive $4,000 USD. This Contest is governed by official Terms and Conditions and is subject to applicable U.S. laws. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter

  • Submit one (1) photo depicting a marriage proposal that took place at a live sporting event during February 2026.
  • Include a written description telling the story of the engagement.
  • Confirm that you are one of the individuals featured in the proposal photo, or that you have obtained express permission from both individuals appearing in the photo.
  • Confirm U.S. residency and that you are twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of participation.

Participants are allowed only one (1) entry per person. Any attempt to submit multiple entries (including by using multiple email addresses or identities) may result in disqualification.

Eligibility

  • Open to individual legal residents of the United States physically located within the fifty (50) United States or Washington, D.C.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older at the time of participation.
  • Employees of the Sponsor or any of its subsidiaries (directly or through intermediary companies), anyone connected with the production or distribution of the Contest, and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, and children living in the same household) are not eligible.

Submission Requirements

  • Photo must depict a marriage proposal that took place at a live sporting event (professional, collegiate, or major sporting venue) during February 2026.
  • Photo and written description must be appropriate for a general audience and comply with any technical or length requirements specified on the entry form.
  • Entrant must be one of the individuals featured in the photo, or must have obtained express permission from both individuals appearing in the photo.

Winner Selection

All eligible entries will be evaluated by a panel appointed by the Sponsor. Submissions will be judged based on:

  • Creativity and originality (40%)
  • Emotional impact and storytelling (40%)
  • Relevance to the sports or live-event setting (20%)

No public voting will take place. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding in all respects.

Winner Notification

  • The selected winner will be notified via the email address provided at the time of entry no later than March 14, 2026.
  • The selected winner must respond within seven (7) days to confirm eligibility and accept the prize.
  • If the winner does not respond within this timeframe, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected, or the prize may go unawarded at Sponsor’s discretion.

Prize

  • One (1) winner will receive a cash prize of USD $4,000.
  • The prize is intended to be used toward wedding-related expenses but may be used at the winner’s discretion.
  • The prize will be distributed via electronic payment, check, or another payment method agreed upon by the Sponsor and the winner.
  • The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution or alternative prize will be provided.
  • The Sponsor may request identity verification before awarding the prize.

The prize may be taxable depending on applicable laws. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes.

Personal Data & Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used solely for administering the Contest and in accordance with Action Network’s Privacy Policy.

Entrants are encouraged not to include sensitive personal information in their written description (such as address, phone number, payment information, government identification numbers, or health information).

Third-Party Content

Entries may be disqualified if they include unauthorized third-party intellectual property (e.g., sports league/team logos, copyrighted broadcast footage, or other proprietary content) without proper authorization.
